Hehehe...I can't really say much because my mom listens to it too. She doesn't call the line but pretty much just listen to what people say. Most interesting for her is mloog cov dabneeg and kwv txhiaj. She has a cellphone which is also unlimited nationwide plan. In my moms case is that she's always home,old and she's sick. she needed something to keep her company..that's all. But, what you're saying is true. I heard people even have dating connections going on..it's the same thing as giving responses on the internet, or even chatting. I guess it's the newest thing to the Hmong community and very popular for the time being..for the old folks.
